One Evening in Puchong :)

I think the second most recurring thing happening at this point in my life besides going to work is going abt searching for food.. =.=

One weekend evening, i forget which, Spider lured me out from my room with the promise of nice yong tau foo (which if you dont already know, im crazy over~) in Puchong! An area where you can easily throw me anywhere and i'll be lost, cos i seldom get to go there, haha... Apparently many ppl know abt these 2 stalls selling yong tau foo that are located in a housing area and are just side by side.. We went to the corner shop which is bigger and was not as packed as the shop in the middle~ (The yong tau foo in the other shop must taste better lor cos the one we had was just so-so for me.. maybe cos we ended up ordering too much for 4 ppl and couldnt finish even after stuffing ourselves.. I think we had 60++ pieces just for 4 ppl)

next time must rmbr not to order so much to be able to enjoy the food properly~ or bring more ppl along so that we'll be able to try more while finishing everything! My evening in Puchong definitely didnt end so early, cos after that we proceeded to Spider's aunt's house to visit her rabbits, all 7 of them, whee~

Daddy is damn handsome, with his shiny fur and all.. kept trying to hump his wife the whole time we were there tho... hahahahha...

their five kids, who are named Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.. So cute!

They stay in this super giant cage with 2 rooms and 2 floors at night and run all over the garden during the day..

Super furry Friday! they called it friday cos it was the smallest when it was born, but turned out to be the biggest and furriest, hahaha...

I personally think rabbits are boring and shit a lot, but they are damn cute with their twitchy noses and floppy ears when you dont have to wash their poop.. but i wish they would respond more to ppl~ Spent a long long time watching the 7 furballs going abt their daily business, then went to Kimtal B for drinks.. Cant wait for them to open more outlets cos their menu seems much more interesting than the usual Station1 and oldtown kopitiam~

Finally got home ard 1am.. cant believe how we could spend so much time literally doing nothing.. heehee... Anyways, gotta thank Ms Spider and Lilian for my one evening in Puchong... xoxoxoxoxo~ :)

PC Fair 2010~

Muahahahha... Random pics~ This was ages ago, sometime in March i think, and i'm only updating in June.. Went to the PC Fair with Lilian and we were gushing about the four-car lrts.. aircon so cool lah, so spacious lah, so clean lah.. hahahha~ jakun..

At KLCC Convention Centre as usual~ Havent visited the PC Fair for quite long dy, the main reason we went was to check out the new technology available.. I found out tat pentium dual core technology is super outdated dy, now got core i3, i5, i7, blah blah blah.. @.@~ im using obsolete stuff?!

Hot hot sunny day~ KLCC Twin Towers and the Maxis Building side-by-side... The Maxis Building completely dwarfed... hehe... Wanted to play with Lilian's new camera in the park, but couldn't stand the heat and gave up..

Lazy to type long stories.. So tats a summary of that day spent in KLCC.. Met with Spider and went to station1 to yumcha and ended the day at 2am.. Not very often i get to do that.. Anyways, didnt come home empty handed from the fair, go myself a new 4GB pendrive.. Amazing how i got my 512MB one for RM90+ last time, now 4GB is less than half that price, grr...

Dunno when only will go to my next pc fair lor~

Sushi Bonanza 2010!

The reason i left the office early, leaving piles of unfinished work on my desk--> Sushi King's semi-annual Sushi Bonanza~~~ :):):) I dont have a member's card but there's always someone ard who does, hehehe... We had agreed on 5.45pm earlier, cos didnt want to queue for too long. In the end, we only made it out of the office at 6pm and we were expecting a large crowd outside the 3rd Floor outlet at Midvalley as we started briskwalking racing there..

To our surprise, there wasnt a queue at all and we even got to sit at a table :D after hearing from another colleague that she had queued 50mins the previous evening at another outlet, i think we were pretty lucky, hehehe.. Soon after we sat down and ordered our drinks, time to start attacking the RM2 plates on the sushi belt!!!

Round One!

One of the terms of the promotion is that we're only given 45 minutes to finish the meal, so being the kiasu ppl that we are, we just started grabbing at everything in sight (i think i had 3 prawn tempura sushi, yums~) but nobody came to chase us away when our time was up.. Aiya, shld have taken more time to enjoy lah!

One little complaint tho, eventhough the promo was quite worth it, with quite big slices of salmon, unagi and fresh prawns being refilled the whole time, but the variety just wasnt satisfying enough.. after ard 20mins, we were getting a bit bored, so it was photo time~

Pening Kepala at Brussels Beer Cafe-Jaya One~

Two Fridays ago: 9 April 2010~

Took a bus from my office down to Jaya One after work to meet two of my girlfriends for dinner.. Picked Brussels Beer Cafe cos i'd heard many good reviews abt it and wanted to try it out, plus Lilian wanted to experience sitting down and having some drinks, so a beer cafe felt like a good choice, hehe...

To cut a long story short, we spent ages perusing the menu (the service was actually very good, cos in a span of abt 5 mins while the rest of us were waiting for lilian to arrive, i think 3 waiters came up to ask us whether we had ordered) then sat there for about 2 hrs plus eating, chilling, chatting and people watching (nice selection of people to look at, plus there were very leggy beer promoters as well)..

Caught yakking away.. hehehe...

So why the pening kepala in the title?? Basically, i had a slight fever while in the office that afternoon, so took 2 tablets of Uphamol and promptly forgot all abt them (how smart!) and everyone knows that its not good to mix alcohol with any form of medication.. I only felt the effects abt 2 hrs after my first sip, and i thought i was just super sleepy all of a sudden, only felt the rush of sound to my ears and saw stars after i stood up.. Could barely walk to the car after that but still made it... damn scary cos i'd never felt anything like that before.. So now i know what it feels like to want to faint @.@~

after resting in the car for awhile, lilian drove me back home and i managed to get myself upstairs and had a bath before toppling into bed at ard 9pm++ i think im quite super, cos i still managed to walk all the way to the car without support *proud*

quite pricey cos of the beer, can only indulge once in awhile after pay day lor :(

Dont mind going for a second visit :)

Lesson learned - Uphamol + Alcohol = Bad bad bad bad combination :*
