I have a sob story~ My mum's main purpose coming to KL last month was not to see me.. boohoo.... but to meet up with some of her long time no see ex-colleague/ classmate/ housemates (damn complicated lah.. O.o) 2 Aunties had their birthdays that weekend, so a gathering cum celebration had been planned since ages ago..

a seriously long lasting friendship.. i oso want!!! :PVenue was changed to Ying Ker Lou @ The Gardens from One Noodle @Desa Park City at the last minute, anyway all they wanted was a place to chat so the venue didnt really matter i guess.. haha...
The scary looking dessert my bro and i shared -- Dragon fruit & ginger syrup with glutinous rice balls.. Yums!Halfway through, bro and i sneaked out to get a cake.. I'd aimed to get a cake from San Terri after hearing lots of good reviews abt it, and we peered at the cakes available for quite awhile before settling for the blueberry cheese... they all looked so inviting :*:*
After we got back, the aunties were still busy chatting and hadnt even finished half their food yet, leaving me super free to steal shots of them :)

I had one and a half slices, wish i could stuff more down, but really felt full cos being one of the 'youngsters' there, my bro and i had to help finish some of the food.. Incredibly, all the aunties were still going strong after dinner, we left only when the restaurant was abt to close, ard 10pm.. continued our night at Starbucks, I finally tried the caramel chocolate chip frappuccino (or something like tat).. i usually only habe the green tea latte.. haha... Anyways, when a bunch of aunties get together, something amazing happens, they can talk and talk until they forget their own bedtimes.. i was yawning away like mad, but they still didnt show any signs of wanting to leave.. luckily starbucks at The Gardens closes at 12am++ or else.. :S
Had lots of fun listening to all sorts of wacky stuff ranging from eczema to haunted toilets.. LoL... Mummy had better plan her next gathering soon.. :P
