Dunno why but I feel so so tired today... Keep wanting to sleep only, which is ridiculous cos i overslept by 2 hours this morning and spent most of the 4 hour journey from JB to KL sleeping as well... Yelp! I've been infected by the sleepy bug... Maybe its a result of being stuffed full of food from top to toe since last friday... Wat to do... So many nice things waiting for me to tuck into.. Home-cooked food is always the best, yeah!!!
************************************************************************************** Brought Mr SYF to JB's town centre.. Together wif my bro, we took a bus there to the most convenient place to go to-City Square... Its funny how its becoming more and more like Sungai Wang, with all those little girls dressed in taiwanese-japanese fashion that i dont care for... Hmm... All the girls are starting too look the same to me... Heavy makeup, same type of clothes...
Anyway, we watched X-Files (I want to believe) which in my opinion wasnt good at all... The story was boring in quite a few places and the climax was so predictable that it cant really be considered a climax... The only saving part was Gillian Anderson's acting, but even that cldnt make me sympathise wif her character... Its like the actors didnt really put heart into the movie.. The frankenstein plot wasnt very attractive either, as a mystery story, its too predictable.. As a scary movie, there arent a lot of scary parts, gross maybe but not scary... As an intellectual movie, the story is too half-baked.. Its like they made this movie just to show that The X-Files is still around with no other reason whatsoever.. It was very very disappointing lor...
1.5 Stars out of 5, half a star out of sympathy :)
Just like the Baskin Robbins ice-cream fondue... Haha... Its so messy to eat... I wouldnt have it a second time, I swear... unless some rich philantrophist wants to belanja me.. The ice-cream starts melting the moment it reaches the table! And instead of savouring the tastes, we ended up fighting against time to gobble everything up before it melted into a pool of milk...
Highlight of the day was something out of the blue tho! A small, not very well-known Ramen shop in Taman Sutera.. hehe... Surroundings were nice, food was delicious and prices very reasonable! 2 thumbs up! But too bad my first choice-Sharksfin Ramen was unavailable... Luckily my Teriyaki Chicken tasted good enough to make up for the disappointment! Bro's smoked duck Ramen was good too as well as mum's Abalone Ramen... Abalone for only RM9?! hahahhahaha... and it tasted really good too.. unbelievable!
Salivate lah ppl!! :)
Cathay Cineplex, not bad not bad... Pretty looking B.R fondue
