* x'mas eve 2008 *

To be honest,i dont really believe in Christmas, or santa claus for that matter... so to me its just another old day, but that doesnt mean that we cant use it as an excuse to go out and have fun right?? :)

Well, we had a kind of belated birthay celebration for Ms A on x'mas eve where we went to watch Ip Man-葉問 (first time my mum and dad have watched a movie-at the cinema mind you!- before me.. :D) In my opinion, its really really quite a nice movie.. i'd expected it to be something like 霍元甲, a bit bland and dry.. and i dont really fancy Donnie Yen （甄子丹）but it was quite exciting and was even funny in some parts eventho its a story abt the Japanese occupation... it was quite bloody as well, its the first time i watched an 18SG movie where they really checked our ICs.. The best part was, he didnt die! dont you just hate it if the hero dies at the end???

Before the movie, we had lunch at a place i've been meaning to go to a long long time ago but never had the chance.. Vietnam Kitchen! and the food there is really like what ppl claim in food blogs.. really quite nice... i had the dry vermicilli with chicken and vietnamese spring roll and basil passion soda.. basically passion fruit flavoured soda water with lots of leaves.. but eventho they sound so weird, they tasted really nice! and the prices are so so reasonable as well... :D nice satisfying meal we had there which lasted almost 2 hours.. and was quite eventful..


very rich cream cake from King's confectionery that scared everyone with the amount of cream on it... Oooo... Dec was really a cake month for me~ but luckily i love cakes, so nvm.... the candle and knife was courtesy of vietnam kitchen cos we forget to collect from the cake shop, hehe.. theres a video the bf made where i'm caught redhanded stealing cake, but i dont think anyone should see that.. my greedy side O.o...

Can you tell who the 2 ppl in the background are?? i think most ppl wont be able to tell cos they are local celebrities--钟盛忠 and his sis 钟晓钰.. imagine that.. they kept looking over at our table cos we were really noisy and we sort of invaded into their privacy a bit as well.. haha...

We kept taking shots like these but in actual fact we were trying to subtly get them on camera.. hahahha... we kept saying loudly that we had a nice background and i think they sort of heard us lah.. embarrassed...

I tell you, if this photo is changed to black and white then it looks exactly like a supernatural pic.. didnt want to post here and scare ppl tho... its cos of the patch of light from god knows where behind Ms A... its weird cos there wasnt actually a light there..

Anyway, we were supposed to go home after the movie but we decided to go to bukit bintang to soak up the atmosphere instead and ended up going for k-buffet at Neway, Timesquare... long story.. but the food was good eventho its super duper expensive to go for karaoke on x'mas eve, or any eves for that matter... pls do not be as foolish as us~ :D

and so, after that eventful day, i spent my x'mas in my room, studying, hahahhaha.... told you x'mas is a nothing special day for me lor!
