Day 61: Kimos + Steamboat party~

Thursday 6th August 2009, after our kind of pointless one hour tutorial, we went to Kimos, a Mediterranean restaurant near LJMU for lunch and a bout of 'aunty-ness' afterwards cos our food stores were kind of depleted.. I've been there once before almost 2 months ago, and I really liked the ambience..

Nice decor..

Fake stars on the ceiling..

Ignore the black lump (me) at the side, I just wanna show the nice seat.. :)

Adelynne's Meditteranean breakfast set, the brown things are called 'falafeh' hahahha...

My cheeseburger~:)

Had fun with the sauce as usual..

Giant meal to give us energy to lug the tons of stuff we bought back... >.<
For dinner, we found a very nice roast chicken selling at half price (1.76 from 3.49, and it wasn't even expired, hehe) but then we got an unexpected call from the bunch of friends we met during our trip to Scotland- turns out the world is a small place, one of them used to stay opposite my room during my hostel days, but I never noticed her since she only stayed for one semester- They wanted to invite us for a steamboat dinner at their apartment that evening..

We'd planned to do something like this, but we didnt expect them to be that enthusiastic.. Actually, it was cos their fridge had broken down and since they're going away for the weekend, all the food has to be cleared, and what better way to do so than by dumping everything into a pot of tomyam soup.. hehehe..

Grapes and roast chicken sponsored by Adelynne and me :)

Woohoo.. time to feast~

Cheap Tesco chicken, haha..

Customary group photo.. failed cos of the huge gap between the 2 guys.. >.<
Failed again.. What the heck is everyone doing?!

Finally..

After stuffing ourselves, we spent the whole night looking at the thousands of pictures from our trip and chatting away, eventhough those crazy seniors hadn't even started packing for their trip the next day and also their assignment, which they have approximately one and a half days to complete when they get back.. Real crazy people.. haha...

PS: At last count, there are roughly 4000 pictures from our trip, how am I going to sort through them all?!
