The importance of one word---> "NOT"

As promised, I'll be posting some pictures from work... hehehe... but before that, have to tell a story regarding the title which will explain why I felt like I was working as a factory worker instead of a company secretarial assistant (please read, those people who think i'm a secretary!! >.<) , O.o...

On Friday, my group's director (we have 8 groups in the co sec department) came rushing out from her room, asked everyone to grab a black marker and follow her downstairs.. Everyone was wondering what the commotion was about.. Turns out Bursa Malaysia had checked a document that morning, a circular for one of the public companies and we had to strike off the word 'not' from the sentence 'not perused by Bursa Malaysia' from all the circulars, all 3600 of them!

It was such a big deal cos all the envelopes had already been sealed and had to be sent out by 3pm the same day... We started around 11am and managed to strike off all 3600 'not's by lunch.. but then, we still had to put the documents back into their respective envelopes.. haha... -all cos of stupid kaypoh Bursa..

Before lunch, havent yet realised the implications of the task before us... still got time for photos :)

After lunch, we restarted our production line, arranging the documents in their correct order, putting them back into the envelopes, then bundling them up to be sent.. Man, i could feel the strain on my arms cos we were working so fast.. but still missed the 3pm deadline.. Finally finished around 4pm... better late than never lah..

Luckily i like doing these kinds of stuff, haha, everyone's comment was tat i was enjoying myself... haha... Imagine if the company in question was public bank?! 10,000+ shareholders, if it were, we might still be in the office right now.. hahaha... 3600 already looks like mountains of paper...

Friday was also May Yee's last day (my senior whom i'll be replacing).. So she went aound the office taking pics with everyone...

My first impression of her was that she's very pretty... @.@~

with Chai Hing, our manager and mother figure, hehe...

A tiny portion of the co sec dept with Eris from HR~

In the library, which has files instead of books >.<

One of the rare males in our dept... really rare.. haha..

Still have some photos taken with my group but havent gotten them yet.. Next time lah... Next week will be super challenging for me, no more senior to kacau when i'm not sure abt stuff.. See how it goes lah... Bye bye STMY, good luck in your next job~~ :)
