I remember reading a book when I was little that was called 'Alexander and his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day'.. Well, today was kind of 'Su Yen and her terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day' instead.. :(
The spurt of 'sui-ness' began this morning when I banged my hand against the black rack downstairs and got a cut.. Then I accompanied mum to renew her passport at the same place I went to last time, and upon arriving at 10.30am, we found out that all the numbers for today had already been given out, so no choice, we had to use the KIPPAS (Kiosk Pembaharuan Pasport), the name would have been cute if we didn't have to queue for about an hour before it was our turn, then was the 2 hour wait for the passport itself, the 2 hour wait that turned into an almost 3 hour wait.. There were so many people cos its a holiday in Singapore for Good Friday.. Apalah! Good Friday cause so much problems for people, ends up not good at all..
After that we went to the bank (near City Square) , where I pressed 1051 for fixed deposit, but the stupid counters kept calling numbers beginning with 2 only, after another seemingly endless wait, I got so fed up so I pressed another number that began with 2 and voila, after 3 people it was my turn already, the idiocy of it all! Grr.. So much waiting put my very impatient soul into a very bad mood already, but more was still to come..
To escape from the definite jam at 5pm, we decided to go home before the crowds, so no shopping, double :( but the stupid stupid bus we got on didn't want to start moving until it was full, so another looong wait, whats more, the stupid driver was smoking.. By then, I was literally under a thundercloud, wet from the pouring rain already and sniffing in loads of secondhand smoke.. To calm down I closed my eyes to try to take a nap and meditate a bit but the idiot bus driver then chose this very moment to start yelling out in his very loud, croaky voice 'Kulai, Kulai, bas ke Kulai!' like some petty trader.. Arghh.. I really felt like strangling him then..
Anyways, after a depressingly long period, the bus finally moved, and lo and behold, the sight that met us round the bend!
Traffic jam stretching to infinity! Singaporeans going home lah.. Ok, nevermind, finally we made it to the bus stop where we were to grab a taxi back, and see the sight that met us:
Stupid road flooded.. and rain still pouring down!Made it home finally, but I swear, I really hate waiting! To those people who say that their worst day consisted of leaving their favourite waist cincher behind in class, try and top this lah! Grr.. stupid pampered people.. Well, I know that sentence is going to send me to hell~ See below:

Sigh.. If envy is going to condemn me to hell, then so be it, cos for me, envy is what pushes me forward, to find ways to get things which I want a lot but don't have.. I really am tired.. tired of waiting, tired of being a nobody, tired of not being to afford.. Off my head right now, I have dozens of things that I would love to have but don't have a budget for.. So people who have everything, please stop complaining about your life okay..

-to fix my teeth
-to try a mani/pedi
-a new wardrobe (as in cupboard to put clothes in)
-a new wardrobe (as in clothes)
-tons of accessories to match my clothes
-a better phone (mine is finally slowly dying on me after more than 3 yrs)
-to eat at trendy interesting places more often
-to travel abroad
-a designer bag (Hope I can afford one before I'm 30 lah O.o..)
-coloured contacts (i would love to try for fun, but not worth spewing money for..)
Yesss.. after ranting, I feel so much better now.. all the bad feelings gone.. On a happier note, I finally have a laptop! Sponsored by my cousins tho I dunno what brand yet O.o... So I am satisfied, kind of.. Going to Singapore tomorrow, so no updates for a few days.. See ya when I get back!
PS: I also have a bruised foot caused when I hit a pillar accidentally when trying to avoid the bus splashing rainwater on me.. Sobs...Tragic, tragic day~
