A very very hot morning! everyone was sweating after the walk to class and had blurry eyes from the glare.. and people in Liverpool call this great weather, haha, when we've been trying to escape the heat in malaysia.. Ironic.. Had our last lecture for the first module, which is 'Managing Projects'..
In my opinion its a very vague subject, something like corporate governance, where you can make up anything that has sense but throw in some theories from time to time.. Hmm... Hopefully its so, cos there'll be a lot to make up on Mon during the exam, where there are 2 questions for 50 marks each.. Dang, i find myself hating 20 mark questions and now its increased to 50.. What to write?!
Forgot to take a photo with our lecturer though, who is a lady from the UAE, a very nice person if I may say so, even if she gives us answers concerning the coursework which aren't really answers at all.. haha..
In the afternoon, we had a guest lecturer who came down from London, we were all hoping it would be a young, nice-looking guy (Its good to dream ok..) to distract us from falling asleep, and the biggest scam of all, he wasn't even English, in fact he was Irish and had the weirdest accent.. and everyone got bored to tears by his lecture on Time Management.. Sigh...
After class, struggling to keep awake, went grocery shopping again.. and we found a little store selling foodstuff from all over the world that had a nice selection of maggi and yeos and curry powder, hahahhaha... Finally got our hands on some cornstarch and mung beans... :)
Had a very impressive looking dinner that night, cos the chicken was almost expiring so our master chef decided to make 'soy sauce chicken'.. I think I over-ate, cos i had one drumstick and one thigh (O.o).... Guilty... haha...
