The culprits were the usual, ms TMY, ms LMH and mr SYF and me, of course.. Destination: Low Yat Plaza Redbox... Cos greenbox was full, sigh, we were mumbling and grumbling cos we were aiming for the greenbox lunch package which is cheaper than the redbox happy hour one which we settled for... But much good came out of it.. more on that later...

So anyway.. our slot was supposed to be 2pm-5pm with either 2 free drinks or one hi-tea meal + 1 drink, pretty fair right?? Err, not really, cos there are these compulsory 3 bowls of snacks in every room that cost a whopping RM8 each! you know, those mixed cocktail nuts, heck, RM8 i can buy one giant bag and eat for a week! Daylight robbery man... but cant complain lah, since everyone who sings k is subject to this anyway...
You know the feeling when you just get in the mood and still have a whole list of songs that you havent sung yet and taadaa, yr time is up and the manager comes with the bill?? You know that feeling right?? hahahha, na ah, that didnt happen to us... we kept asking each other what time it was a various intervals, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm.. and in the end we left at 8.30pm.. not because the bill was presented to us, but really because we sang until we were all so tired and couldnt sing anymore, hahaha...
Whats more, cause they are promoting their Halloween package, every room is entitled to pick a special gift, and we got a free plate of fries.. have got to tell you how stupid i was... well, the manager came in with a guy dressed in black robes, wearing a hideous party mask and holding a rubber axe, and my first reaction was to duck behind the bf... hahaha... natural reaction mah, cos i once got a scare from one of the haunted house guys at genting, ah nevermind... and the manager ended up saying "dont hide, dont hide, we're here to bring joy, not scare you!" hahaha, so damn embarrassing... luckily he's not going to remember me after today i hope... :) but he did take a picture of us with his camera.. hmm...
So all in all, the trip was pretty worth it..
Got to meet up with friends, sang my heart out and the blues away for a total of 6.5 hours, got free fries... yay! satisfied.... :D
PS: I am so loving this song right now! Fell in love with it after watching the music video... So cool!! :) I really like her voice... and she's so pretty... and theres Tank! and power station.. how not to like??!
